I'd like to try shooting a roll of Kodak's new Vision 500T negative (ASA of 400-500 depending on lighting conditions), but my camera (Quarz/Kinoflex) can only be set to 200ASA or lower. I could use an external meter, but I know that there are all sorts of intervening factors that make this difficult (imprecise optical elements, beamsplitter that redirects light away from film, etc.) Is there a way I can work around these problems, or should I just give up and go with the slower 200ASA stock?
